SOS Children's Villages Of Pakistan has been a major contributor to relief efforts in the the earthquake affected areas right from the beginning. I have had the honor of working directly with the leadership of this fine organization to personally distribute or coordinate much of the aid their trucks and staff have delivered in the areas I've worked in. CDRS is utilizing superior quality SOS tents for medical operations, and over a thousand of these tents were distributed by SOS through my teams and the Pakistan Army to schools and families before and during the winter months, along with truckload after truckload of emergency food bars, rice, flour, sugar, pedialyte, bottled mineral water, cots, clothing, blankets, stoves, bisciuts, powdered milk, medicines, baby formula and diapers.

In addition to all the needed items they delivered, SOS Children's Villages of Pakistan also donated a full field hospital setup and 5 emergency field backpacks that each contained lifesaving equipment and medicines for any kind of critically ill patient that doctors have had to treat up in the mountains and remote areas. The importance of these packs cannot be understated. I have personally witnessed the oxygen tanks, emergency drugs and specialized equipment contained in these packs save many lives, including several children with pnuemonia that would have otherwise died if these lifeline packs had not been available (See series of photos below).

I salute SOS Children's Villages Of Pakistan for their epic and inspiring contribution to the healing of the earthquake affected areas of Pakistan and I look forward to working with this First Class Organization in the future.
